Selena & Demi Reunite for Rare Beauty’s Nostalgic New Campaign

The former Disney Channel stars bring their iconic friendship back into the spotlight with Rare Beauty’s “Still Making Each Other Blush” campaign.

Some friendships never go out of style. Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato have reunited for a new Rare Beauty campaign, bringing a wave of nostalgia, playful beauty moments, and early 2000s memories to the spotlight.

Unveiled on October 28, 2026, the campaign, titled “Still Making Each Other Blush,” celebrates nearly 25 years of friendship between the two stars while introducing the limited-edition Delena Soft Pinch Blush Bundle.

A Nostalgic Reunion Inspired by Disney Channel

For an entire generation, Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato represent an unforgettable chapter of Disney Channel history.

The two first met as children on Barney & Friends before establishing successful careers in music, television, and entertainment. Their friendship became especially iconic during the late 2000s, when they starred together in the 2009 Disney Channel movie Princess Protection Program.

Rare Beauty’s new campaign revisits those memories through a series of carefully styled photographs and nostalgic video moments.

In one of the standout campaign images, Gomez and Lovato recreate the visual language of their beloved Disney movie. Wearing princess-inspired dresses and sparkling tiaras, the pair pose together on vintage suitcases, referencing the film’s original promotional imagery.

Gomez appears in a teal dress, while Lovato wears a contrasting yellow look, creating a playful visual connection between their past and present.

The Campaign: Friendship, Beauty and Y2K Nostalgia

The visual direction embraces the charm of the late 2000s, combining soft pink backgrounds, romantic makeup, playful styling, and nostalgic references.

Beyond the polished campaign photography, Rare Beauty also brings back the spontaneous energy of the duo’s early YouTube videos.

In a recreated bedroom setting, Gomez and Lovato laugh, dance, play with makeup, revisit old memories, and sing along to their 2009 duet, One and the Same.

The result feels both personal and cinematic, balancing a contemporary beauty campaign with the unmistakable atmosphere of their Disney Channel years.

Rather than focusing exclusively on makeup, the campaign places their shared history and enduring connection at the center of its storytelling.

Introducing the Delena Soft Pinch Blush Bundle

Alongside the campaign, Rare Beauty has launched the limited-edition Delena Soft Pinch Blush Bundle, named after the fan-created nickname for Selena and Demi.

The set includes two full-size shades of Rare Beauty’s popular Soft Pinch Liquid Blush:

  • Hope: A soft nude-mauve shade with a dewy finish, chosen by Selena Gomez.
  • Virtue: A warm beige-peach shade with a dewy finish, selected by Demi Lovato.

The bundle also includes the Soft Pinch Blush Brush and is priced at $50 USD, with a stated retail value of $76.

According to Rare Beauty, the limited-edition set is exclusive to its US website.

A Full-Circle Moment for Selena and Demi

Beyond the beauty products and nostalgic visuals, this collaboration carries a personal meaning for both artists.

After growing up together in the entertainment industry and pursuing their individual careers, Gomez and Lovato have found a way to celebrate their shared beginnings through a creative project.

The campaign reflects the evolution of their friendship, from childhood memories and homemade videos to a professional beauty collaboration nearly 25 years later.

For longtime fans, seeing Selena and Demi together again is more than just another celebrity partnership. It is a reminder of an era that shaped a generation.

And with its nostalgic styling, princess-inspired imagery, and soft, romantic beauty looks, Rare Beauty has created a campaign that feels like a love letter to friendship, growing up, and the memories that stay with us.
